Release Notes Data Anonymization Module v35.0

Release Overview:

Job history rework

We are happy to introduce a fully reworked Job History feature in the Data Anonymization Service:

  • Job History Tracking: View and track the status, start/end times, and details of all anonymization (masking) jobs in a comprehensive table.

  • Enhanced Status Indicators: Job progress is shown based on actual records processed, with ETA and warnings for ongoing jobs.

  • Improved UI: Easily filter jobs by Data Source, Environment, and Status, with clear icons indicating job completion, failure, or ongoing status. Access detailed job info with a single click.

  • Unlimited Data Retention: Job records are stored indefinitely, with smooth navigation via scrolling or pagination.

  • PID (Job/Process ID) Integration: Each job now has a unique PID, allowing users to easily filter and identify logs related to specific jobs.

  • Logs Button: A "Logs" button has been added to each job entry on the Job Monitoring page. Clicking this button takes you directly to the logs filtered by the selected job, simplifying the review process.

Free License

We have introduced a Free License option for our service, providing users with 10 GB of storage and no expiration date. Upon the first launch, the application prompts users to enter their name and email to register the license, which is automatically generated and applied. Users can also manually start the registration process from the "About" screen.

Key Highlights:

  • 10 GB Limit, No Expiry: Free license with 10 GB of storage.

  • Seamless Registration: Automatic license generation and registration during initial setup.

  • Manual Registration: Users can register for a free license anytime via the "About" screen.

  • Clear Indication: The UI marks the application as a "Free Version" with links to upgrade options.

Script upload feature

Admin users can now upload Pre/Post scripts directly through the UI, eliminating the need for direct server access to use Pre/Post script functionality. The updated UI includes a new upload button, which is restricted to admin users only.
