Release Overview

The new features:

  • The new Live GI creation process (from UI).

  • Snapshot Management Screen → Added log (from Agent) for long actions (Start/Stop VDB, RMAN Refresh)

  • Snapshot Management Screen → “Refresh” RMAN GI creates the snapshot automatically.

  • Snapshot Management Screen → Add Clone creates the initial snapshot.

  • Snapshot Management Screen → Automatic creation snapshots (by timer) for VDB.

  • Snapshot Management Screen → Automatic creation snapshots (by timer) for Live GI.

  • Snapshot Management Screen → Refresh of the RMAN GI by timer.

  • Snapshot Management Screen → Duplicates may work (started as VDB etc.) even their GI was deleted.

  • API method what allows to change the limits of the secure disk-usage.

  • Disk Space Monitor → Automatic refresh each 10 seconds. To make the monitoring more interactive.

 

 

Small improvements:

  • Snapshot Management Screen → Warning message with the number of Snapshots what will be deleted on Recovery.

  • Snapshot Management Screen → Clone may be deleted if it has only snapshots.

  • Snapshot Management Screen → Possibility to look snapshots by name.

  • Source Management Screen → Possibility to edit Source Database configuration.

  • Source Management Screen → “Show Info” popup allows to see the Source Database configuration.

The solution has been covered by 276 unit tests and 165 integration tests.
