Security
The security of Accelario Virtualization is provided in several levels:
Deployment - the central Accelario Virtualization server runs on a dedicated server, that is installed using best-practices for securing a server.
Authentication - users can be authenticated by either Accelario’s internal engine or by Active Directory
Authorization - the Accelario Virtualization provides a role based access control (RBAC) security model where every user can only use resources that he is allowed to.
Sharing - a VDB can be shared between different users. The shared VDB does not expose the root GI and can be masked automatically
Masking - a VDB can be served as masked only, without exposing the real source data.
Database credentials - the credentials for the source and target databases are stored in an encrypted way.
