Release 25.0

August 22, 2023

Release Overview

Automation enhancement for embedded XML/JSON structures support.

Accelario Masking Service can automatically identify, manage, and preserve embedded XML/JSON data structures within relational databases. The focus is on automating database schema refresh operations, sensitive data search, Masking editor functionalities, and performing masking.

Key features:

Automated detection

Embedded XML/JSON structures are now automatically identified and during initial and subsequent schema refreshes.

Schema refresh preservation

Automation ensures that existing masking rules for XML/JSON columns are preserved during any schema refresh operations.

Automated sensitive data scan

Sensitive data within XML/JSON structures is now automatically identified, without excessive manual intervention.

Automated masking editor operations

The Masking editor has been upgraded to automatically support XML/JSON data structures, allowing for the automated creation and modification of masking rules with parameters.

Masking licensing

The new feature enables the Masking product to support trial licenses with expiration limitations, offering potential customers a full-featured experience for a limited time.

Key features:

Licenses are generated through an Accelario-owned license server tool and can be manually placed by users or the support team.

For existing customers, the license will be issued for a 100-year expiration, making it a lifetime license and eliminating renewal hassles.

If a license is missing or expired, the product switches to a blocked mode (the user cannot log in).
