Release 32.0
May 23, 2024
Release Overview:
New features:
New service name: Data anonymization
We are excited to announce that our product formerly known as "Data Masking" has been renamed to "Data Anonymization."
This change reflects our commitment to providing robust privacy solutions beyond traditional data masking techniques.
Our renaming initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance service clarity, expand our market reach, ensure regulatory compliance, and better position our product in the competitive landscape of data privacy solutions.
UI Changes
Key elements of the user interface have been updated to reflect the new product name and enhance user experience.
Enhancement of data lookup file management
We are introducing significant enhancements to managing data lookup files within our Data Anonymization Service. These updates provide greater control and flexibility, enabling more accurate and relevant lookup files through advanced features.
Description Changes
Enhancements include tools for exporting, generating, and creating data lookup dictionaries with increased precision and customization options.
Key Changes
Export data lookup files:
Users can now export existing data lookup files (in .txt format) for any data lookup rule, including internal and custom ones.
Tool for generating data lookup files:
A new, integrated tool within the editor allows users to generate data lookup dictionaries from two distinct sources:
Production data:
Allows admins to generate dictionaries directly from specified production data columns, with adjustable parameters for record counts and uniqueness.
ChatGPT LLM AI:
Utilizes AI to synthesize data based on input patterns and examples provided by the user.
Read-only data sources
A new "Read-only" feature was introduced for the data sources. This enhancement ensures the integrity of production databases by preventing any modifications, thereby eliminating the risk of accidental data alterations.
Changes
This update allows users to set their data sources as read-only, and ensure that the data source is locked against any modifications.
