Release Overview

Version 22.0 release primarily focuses on preparation to AWS-centric solution and ease of use with minor improvements.

Automated Database Version Detection

In our latest release, we have enhanced the source/target management system by removing the manual entry of database versions in the user interface and backend requests.

This update introduces automatic detection of database versions, eliminating the need for users to specify the version manually. This change applies to several workflows, simplifying the process and improving user experience. Virtualization now efficiently auto-detects the correct database version, streamlining operations and reducing manual input errors.

Oracle RDS AWS GI Staging instance SPFILE modification

This update introduces the capability to modify SPFILE parameters for Oracle RDS AWS GI staging instances, mirroring the existing functionality available for VDBs. Users can now customize advanced SPFILE parameters dynamically, enhancing control and efficiency in database configuration and management. This feature streamlines the process, aligns with familiar VDB mechanisms, and adheres to AWS and Oracle best practices.

LOKI-2356	VDB Management. MSSQL RDS. Failed to auto sync MSSQL RDS Source Database(floating)
LOKI-2355	VDB Management. Native Backup GI 2019 and Native Backup GI 2016 GI are not activated(floating)
LOKI-2347	Sensitive search finds columns from schema that is not present in the environment
LOKI-2343	H2 Upgrade. Application start failed with error: 'Duplicate column name "LAST_DB_SID'

Testing status:

The manual regression tests - completed

No critical bugs were found during the regression testing.
